The bioBubble^® Airlock serves two purposes in a laboratory environment:

1. To provide a positive or negative barrier between two environments

2. To provide a psychological reinforcement of the importance of following

Standard Operating Procedures

With a totally clear airlock, it is possible to visually inspect the area without entering.The clear vinyl skin also allows for the use of existing lighting. Opaque materials are also available upon request. The Airlock attaches to a door frame of either a hard room or a bioBubble^® Clean Room via a NASA-spec hook-and-loop connection allowing easy removal for cleaning or transportability to another area.

Skin: Clear 16 mil vinyl, flame retarded

Filtration: High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters standard as per Federal military spec 209B.

Framework: 1 1/4" aluminum; plastic optional

Light: Use existing lighting due to the clear vinyl skin of the Clean Room
